City Tacos San Diego: #tacotuesday Inspiration

Have we mentioned that we like tacos?

Like LeBron James, we celebrate #tacotuesday like it’s our birthday because why not?

The problem - and yes it’s a problem - is that there are so many excellent taco spots in San Diego to choose from, what’s a taco connoisseur to do?

We may have found THE solution: City Tacos in San Diego.

In fact, we like their tacos so much that we went to the City Tacos in La Mesa and City Tacos in Pacific Beach in the same week!

We are big fans of their current taco of the month, the Shrimp Crunch, that holds a taquito inside that is filled with bacon wrapped camarones.

Our other favorites include the Surf and Turf, the Shrimp Enchilados and Tacos Dorados.

City Tacos also has a solid selection of ice cold draft local craft beers on tap or if you want a non-alcoholic beverage, try their tasty house made horchata. Also, don’t forget to save room for dessert. The churros come out hot and crispy and are accompanied with a warm caramel sauce. YUM!

With locations in North Park, Imperial Beach, Pacific Beach and La Mesa, they are easy to get to from pretty much any part of San Diego. No matter what location you choose, you are guaranteed to walk away with a full tummy and smile on your face!
